Integrated Pest Management

One of the biggest issues of any home is pest control. The most common way to get rid of an infestation is the wide dispersal of harsh chemicals that have to linger to be effective. Some solutions begin in the design process of a home and are implemented at the earliest stages of construction. IPM means using all non- and least-toxic solutions first, such as installing a physical barrier underneath and around the foundation, a borate treatment, or the use of Termimesh. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The best pest management begins in the design phase, and others techniques involve basic cleanliness and non-toxic solutions.
