Talent: David Simon - Sculptor

David Simon was born in 1970 in Queens, New York. He attended Rhode Island School of Design where he was immersed in contemporary academic ideas of sculpture including performance- based work and installation. While studying at RISD, Simon participated in their European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. After graduation he again returned to Italy for a period of self-directed work and study. He returned to the States and began graduate studies at The New York Academy of Art. His professional career has included numerous exhibitions, commissions and teaching. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe and is included in several major private collections. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
