Transcript: Breakfast Room - Start the Day Right

Episode “Breakfast room”

Leigh: Welcome to Feng Shui your Way, I am your host Leigh Kubin and today we will be working in the breakfast room that falls in the wealth area of the bagua. So let’s go see what’s cooking. Well Victoria I love your breakfast room.
Victoria: Well thank you Leigh, we have recently moved into this house and purchased the table and chairs, the rooms a little plain and I really need some help with hat to do with it now.
Leigh: Well this being your wealth area, I know that you want this to be an abundance of money, and time, and friends, and opportunity. So the first thing we need to do is get rid of all of these triangles.
Victoria: Triangles are bad?
Leigh: Triangles are fire. And with this being a wood sector, the triangles burn the wood. So think about the moneys, and opportunities and things like that disappearing. So what we are first going to do is look at the table. I love the table, it is beautiful, its wood, which is great for this area. The problem is that in the chairs if you notice there are triangles all over the back of them. Now hat we are going to intend with these triangles, if you notice they form a square. O we are going to call that a square instead of triangles.
Victoria: Ok.
Leigh: So now let’s talk about some triangles that you can fix. If you notice behind the table you have created a triangle. Back here with the wall. So what we will want o do is straighten out the table so that you don’t have that triangle right there, and although I love this picture that you have here. If you notice there are three of these leaves, and in between you see the triangles.
Victoria: Oh, ok.
Leigh: So it is a great picture, and I think there is a better spot in the house that you could put it. Maybe here we could replace this with something that has got wood in it, something that you love that looks abundant to you, and we will place that here.
So Victoria I love the blinds. The only thing that I would change is that I would move them upward. Right now they are facing downward, which is creating downward moving energy. And with this being your wealth area you want this lifted up.
Victoria: Definitely.
Leigh: So it’s a very simple thing, just pull the cord and have them face up.
Victoria: That sounds easy to me.
Leigh: And I would love to see a tree in this corner, representing your wealth growing and your opportunities growing. So every time you see the tree grow, you can look at that as something in your life growing.
Victoria: Sounds terrific.
Leigh: My favorite is the Chinese money tree, so I will have to show you where to get on of those.
Victoria: Ok.
Leigh: And something about this window I would really like to see it opened up. And maybe you can put something here with jewel tones in it. I don’t know if you want to look for different drapes, or if you have something like that you can put here that represents wealth to you.
Victoria: Well you know actually I am thinking about something that I have in another part of the house that might actually work here that has the jewel tones that you are describing.
Leigh: Okay, well let’s go take a look and see if that might work for us.
Victoria: Okay, sounds good.
Leigh: So Victoria what do you think about your breakfast room?
Victoria: I absolutely love it Leigh. It has a wonderful energetic and abundant feel.
Leigh: I love the way it feels too. I think you did a great job. But my favorite is this piece of art you have in the window.
Victoria: Well it was what you were describing and as you were talking about it I thought well that’s what she is talking about this piece that I had in another part of the hoe. Hat fits here once we put it up in the window it fit.
Leigh: It’s almost like it was made for this space. And I am so glad you thought about that. Because I don’t think you could have found anything better. And I love your Chinese money tree.
Victoria: It is going to bring me lots of wealth isn’t it?
Leigh: Yes, and lots of opportunities. Every time you see a new bud, think of all the opportunities that are coming in the door. Well I love the artwork that you have picked out for this space. You have got your plant energy, growth. Upward moving chi you have this shape of the wood on the frames. So you have really kind of did double wood here, which is perfect for this space.
Victoria: Oh good.
Leigh: Yeah you did a really good job on that. Well you did a great job transforming this room.
Victoria: It feels wonderful.
Leigh: Oh it is just setup in such an abundant way the pieces are perfect, the chi flow is great; I’m just so impressed with what you did.
Victoria: Well thank you so much it feels wonderfully abundant in here and I can’t wait for all of lives wealth to come my way.
Leigh: I can’t wait to see it.
