Thanks for the comments everyone! Havasu Canyon is indeed a spiritual and awesome place. There are so many things, like the cloudy emerald water, the terraced waterfalls, and the canyon walls. Some things you don't see in the show are the trash lined canyon and the trash strewn villiage you go through on the way there. I was picking up trash on the trail until I just plain had too much and had to set the bag on the side of the trail next to some other trash bags. I'm not going to judge the people living in the villages harshly though, as the town I live in is similarly trashed. It's so easy for some to not respect the place where they live. And it only takes a percentage...

Once you get to the falls and the campground you are in a magical place.

I have been down to falls years ago. It was one of my best vacations anywhere. I set up camp right on the edge of the river. There is also a service that you can pay to have the local Indians take your stuff on a donkey for not too much if you split it with 4 other people

That is definetely going to be one of my favorites.
Utterly breathtaking! Well done Tony! The narration really flows...great job.

Havasu Falls has been and is on my top 5 list of places to go - even more so now. I've seen many photos of it, but very little video. This was a great blend of practical orientation to the location and an almost visceral feeling of what it is like to walk around there. Bravo!

Great job Tony! Finally found this place!

Looking forward to many more episodes, Tony!

It's where you can find one of the most impressive landscapes. I felt to be almost in a spiritual place. Relaxed and contemplative views. Included in my wishing list for new places to visit.
