Thanks everyone for the comments- obviously, the topic hits a nerve.
To wcbyrdiv, it was the Ig-Nobel prize- and meant to be tongue in cheek. Watching it from your perspective, I can see your point. I'll certainly be more careful in the future. Thanks. Would love to get your feedback on what topics you'd like to see covered in future episodes.
This is a project that was developed years ago, and I'm thrilled to see it come alive on OnNetworks. I think the Internet and mobile media is ripe for busy parents. Now we just need to find a niche and fill that need.

To Grammys7, thank you for the feedback. I've heard from numerous resale shop owners from around the country, and they love it too. I still think resale is the best-kept secret and more families should know about it. Would love to get your feedback on what topics you'd like to see covered in future episodes.

I signed with my third daughter, but wish I'd had the patience to do more. Still, at age 5, she remembers several words and is a talkative and confident kindergartner.
And, interestingly enough, I just met a mom at my duaghter's gymnastics practice who learned sign language as a child, studied it through college, and is now an ASL translator. She contracts out on local events that fit with her kids' school schedules, and once every 3-4 months works a cruise or exotic vacation. She's in Greece right now- getting paid to translate- and enjoying a week scouting her family's next vacation. She LOVES her job- and by the way, her kids sign too!
