The DC is definitely in my top 3 of favorite consoles. It depresses me that the mere announcement of Sony's Playstation 2 killed it. Some people believe it was pirating that brought the DC to it's end, but IMO, pirating didn't come into play until after Sega had given up on the DC. Sure, games were still being released on the DC while pirating was happening, but Sega's heart wasn't in the DC anymore. They just wanted to make as much money as they could off their dead console. I remember, before the DC released, people complaining the DC & it's games were too expensive, but when the PS2 was announced with games at the same price & a higher priced console, people still wouldn't buy a DC b/c they were waiting for the PS2. Sony established itself as the new "King of Videogames" and all Sega had was their hardcore Sega fans & hardcore gamers. Sony had the hearts of the people and when you have the hearts of the people, you win. Just ask Nintendo.
To those people who say, "this video is incorrect about the facts", how about you tell us what the facts are? Where did you get your info? Educated me on the topic.
